Buying a Car
Yes! All our vehicles are fully prepared and ready for same-day collection.
To test drive a car, bring your driving licence. If you’re buying a car, we’ll also need your bank account details and a secondary form of ID.
Yes, as long as you let us know when you arrive on site, we can take care of that. Bring along a passport and another proof of address such as a utility or council tax bill if you have one.
Due to our highly competitive pricing and fast-moving stock, we don’t reserve cars over the phone or online. Reservations can only be made in-store. This ensures we don’t hold back a car that could be sold to a customer already in the showroom.
We don’t offer delivery of cars. Our vehicles are priced to sell quickly at their advertised location, and demand is high. That said, every car is available to drive away the same day, which is ideal if you’re travelling from a distance.
Alternatively, why not visit your nearest store? Fresh stock arrives daily, and many cars never even make it onto the website. You might find something that suits you from the hundreds available in-store.

As a contribution towards our costs for vehicle transportation/logistics and preparation, a mandatory administration fee of £399.00 (including VAT) is payable on all retail vehicles we sell.
All vehicles come with a 28-day parts & labour warranty. We offer extended warranties, see in-store for details of our lifetime warranty.
We accept UK debit cards, bank transfers, and BACS/CHAPS/Faster Payments. If you’re looking to finance your purchase, you can save time by applying online for a free finance check through our website.
A showroom special is a clearance car available on a first come, first served basis. These cars are only sold in-store and we don’t take appointments for them due to high demand. If you’ve spotted one online, we recommend heading straight to the store as there’s a chance it could sell quickly. Many customers end up choosing a different car once they arrive, thanks to our huge range and competitive prices across the board.
All our cars are priced to sell quickly and competitively, with most listed as ‘Good’ or ‘Great Price’ on AutoTrader. While we don’t offer further discounts, our team in-store will work hard to build the best deal possible for you and do their very best to match your budget.
All cars undergo a thorough, 99-point inspection and any work identified is rectified by our team of over 200 staff in vehicle preparation and logistics.
We sell all cars with a minimum of 3 months, but discuss with the team in-store if you require a fresh MOT before collection. The cars are prepared to a high standard so this is easy enough to arrange quickly.

Use our online valuation tool for an instant valuation. We’ll email you the details, then once you arrive at one of our showrooms, our appraisal team will inspect your car and give you a final valuation.
All Part-Exchange valuations are provided as a desktop valuation and subject to full in-store appraisal. The valuation provided is based on your car being in clean condition with service history and we reserve the right on full appraisal to adjust the amount by the cost of any cosmetic or mechanical repairs required or adjust values (up or down) based on market supply and demand dynamics. We only value cars up to 80,000 miles, your car will be valued at 80,000 if it exceeds this.
Yes, we can buy your car even if there’s finance left to pay, as long as the settlement figure is less than the car’s value. We’ll settle the finance and any remaining equity will be paid directly to you. If your car is in negative equity (meaning it’s worth less than what’s owed), the difference would need to be settled before the sale goes ahead.
Finance
Representative APR (Annual Percentage Rate) is the interest rate plus any compulsory fees (like admin or arrangement fees), expressed as a yearly percentage. It gives you a clearer picture of the total cost of borrowing.
It is referred to as “Representative” because it must be offered to at least 51% of customers who are accepted for the finance deal. That means;
- Not everyone will get that exact rate.
- Your actual APR could be higher or lower, depending on your credit score, deposit, loan amount, and term.

As a result of your Free Finance Eligibility Check (Free Finance Check), your outcome will be one of two statuses:
- Auto Decline – Based on the information provided and subsequent soft search results, we are not confident that we can arrange vehicle finance for you across our panel of lenders.
- Approved to Select a Car – Approved to select a car means that as a result of your Free Finance Check, there has been nothing identified within the soft-search results to indicate that we would not be able to arrange finance for you with a lender from our wide panel.
No, it’s a soft check so you can check your eligibility without impacting your credit score. Representative APR 13.9%.
Absolutely. Our expert finance team is here to help you find a plan that works for you. We’ll guide you through the options and recommend the one that best fits your requirements. All finance is subject to status, but we have a wide panel of lenders to accommodate an approval for the majority of our customers.
Price Promise
If you can find the same car available in the local area for a lower price then we’ll give you £1,000 plus the difference in price. The difference is calculated from the net agreed price, including any discounts and promotions.
If you spot a similar car elsewhere for less, make sure to check the details carefully. Our cars are HPI checked, never previously salvaged and repaired, and prepared in state-of-the-art workshops. With over 32,000 five-star reviews, we’re confident in the quality we offer and we back it with our £1,000 Price Promise to give you peace of mind.
To be eligible, the alternative vehicle must be the same;
- Month and year of registration
- Specification
- Colour
- Mileage (must be lower or within 500 miles of the Trade Centre vehicle)
The alternative vehicle must be available from a VAT-registered motor dealer operating as a Limited company from permanent premises within 40 miles of the Trade Centre branch where you purchased your car.
No. Online-only retailers are not accepted. The dealer must have a physical location.
You’ll need;
- A written quote from the qualifying dealer or a link to the alternative vehicle listing (not a PDF or printout)
- The quote must be dated within 48 hours of your purchase or the link must be
You must submit your claim within 48 hours of vehicle collection.
If the vehicle is not available at the time of verification (up to 7 days), the claim will be denied.
No. Customers are limited to one claim every 3 years, which aligns with the typical car ownership cycle.
No. Part-exchange over-allowances (discounts) will not be factored into the price comparison.
We do not include our admin fees or alternative dealer’s admin fees in our comparison calculation.
If you take out a warranty or other additional package during the sale, these will not be taken into account.
