Sam Touzel Dominates Jersey Rally in Historic Victory

Trade Centre UK-backed driver Sam Touzel delivered a flawless performance at the weekend’s Jersey Rally, taking an emphatic victory and cementing his place in the event’s history books.

Driving his trusted Ford Fiesta Rally2, expertly prepared by PB Engineering, Sam showcased exceptional speed and consistency across the two-day event. In a remarkable achievement, he became the first driver ever to win the Jersey Rally by setting the fastest time on every single stage — a feat that underlines both his precision behind the wheel and his unwavering determination to succeed.

This latest triumph marks Sam’s second consecutive Jersey Rally win, having also claimed victory in 2024. Despite challenging conditions — with slippery roads and heavy leaf fall testing drivers throughout — Sam and his navigator, Max, maintained complete control from start to finish.

Sam told us just how much it meant being back home:

“Competing on home soil made the result even more special, we were elated, and would just like to say thank you to all who supported us. I would like to express my gratitude to Trade Centre and the Bailey family investment without them this would not be achievable”.

There was huge local support cheering the duo on across the stages. Adding to the weekend’s success, Sam also raised £1,000 for The Jaffa Fund charity, through sales of his official merchandise at the event.
