Trade Centre Group Support Bearwood Community Hub

The Trade Centre Group is proud to continue supporting local communities, most recently through a visit to Bearwood Community Hub.

Based at Bearwood Baptist Church, the Bearwood Community Hub plays a vital role in bringing people together. The hub provides two hot meals each week, and every Wednesday hosts its popular Warm Welcome, offering lunch to around 70 people. Those who attend range from older residents who may be experiencing isolation to friendly neighbours — in fact, anyone who could benefit from a warm meal and a welcoming space.

Recently, Trade Centre UK ambassador Mike Doyle visited Bearwood Baptist Church to present a donation in support of the hub’s ongoing work.

Lizzie Palmer, Development Manager at Bearwood Community Hub, said:

“Thank you to everyone at Trade Centre UK. This donation will allow us to purchase much-needed new equipment. We’ve been relying on kitchen items that are falling apart, so being able to invest in new bain-maries, pots and pans will make a huge difference to the community and the volunteers who support one another here.”
