The Trade Centre UK has been announced as a new sponsor for Coventry Blaze Ice Hockey team – one of the most successful Elite Ice Hockey clubs in the UK.
As a key sponsor, the Trade Centre UK logo will be featured on the players’ team shorts, in match day programmes and around their home ice arena – Coventry’s 3,000-capacity Skydome Arena.
Opening Europe’s largest car showroom in May this year, this is the second showroom for Trade Centre UK in the West Midlands but the fifth for the overall group which also operates in South Wales under The Trade Centre Wales brand.
Since Coventry Blaze relocated to Coventry in 2000 the team has won four Elite league titles and are about to begin their nineteenth season in the City, the season running from September to April.
Andy Buxton, Chairman at Coventry Blaze, said “We are so grateful for the sponsorship from The Trade Centre UK. We’re proud to be displaying their logo on our kit, showing off our new partnership with such a large company in the community.
“We’re delighted they will be taking advantage of many of the fantastic branding opportunities we have to offer and we look forward to working with their team during the course of the season to promote what is an exciting new partnership for both of us.
“The Trade Centre UK is also sponsoring our final home league match against the Cardiff Devils, being played on Sunday 31st March where they will be presenting the Man of the Match awards at the end of the game. I’m sure they will enjoy the great rivalry between the Blaze and the Devils and it will be a great link between their South Wales and Coventry business operations.
“Here at Coventry Blaze we hope this is only just the start of a great partnership.”
Andy Coulthurst, CEO of The Trade Centre Wales, said: “Coventry Ice Blaze are an excellent team that we are thrilled to be able to work alongside.
“As we are expanding to new territory within Trade Centre UK, it is exciting for us to be able to make these connections with our new neighbours. I look forward to the start of the season and especially our sponsored game against Cardiff Devels!”
